A while back I did a quick set of graduation portraits for a friend graduating law school. It was a short shoot, but we got some really great shots!
Strolling Around Austin
Lately I've been taking mini trips to Austin to hang out for the weekend. Here's a random collection of pictures that I've taken over the past few months.
Tutu
Liz came over dressed in a tutu one day so I thought, what better way to capture this moment than a quick shoot. With an outfit like this, it's hard not to have fun on an impromptu shoot like this.
Here's some fun animations from our shoot.
Austin Street Art
Austin is known for being a little weird. One of my favorite things about Austin is the street art that is EVERYWHERE. Anywhere you are in the city, there's always something interesting to see. Turn the corner and you'll find a big Texas mural, a scribbled saying on the wall, or even some stencils down on the curb.
George Observatory
Within about an hours drive from Houston, there's a small observatory called George Observatory in Brazos Bend State Park with 3 domed telescopes. We got a neat tour of the main telescope, where we learned the history of the lens and how they use it to see all the different things in the sky. Although we weren't able to see many stars because the clouds weren't being very cooperative, we were able to tap our inner deGrasse Tysons to sit back and enjoy the sky.
